The apple never falls far from the tree,
But without progression was it meant to be…?
Well, in this rotten forest we call the world-
The trees grow crooked with branches curled.
Doubt and disbelief falls with the leaves
And are taken up with new found greed.
Innocence is poisoned, and in the darkness all hope fades.
Humanity has blinded, in their doings they self-enslave.
Religion and belief are just the soil our roots, so tangled grow.
The higher the trees reach the less the sunrays glow.
