| pretty much all of my poetry is...depressing... but that's just how my mind functions.. Sorry! *sweat drop* ... haha this poem is no exception. if you don't get the things i write i'll understand. but just for referance this poem (like all of them have too much sybolism for my own good) it a poem on frustration with my own failure. eh... enjoy! ^^" Manikin
Is it over? Has my heart stopped? Without a pulse is my value cropped? The more eyes I look through, the more blurry my vision seems. Am I null of worth the less my self esteem? If I cry will things become more clear? Every day I’ll look in the mirror. But before me is a faceless doll. She laughs and says, “Feed me emotion, paint me a face! You’re and artist……and I’m you disgrace!” I stumble backwards, and blink to see To the empty shell doll: That disgrace is me! Without sockets, I cannot have eyes. And I know, no matter how much I wish it all just a lie… My vision will continue to fade with each passing day. In my useless tears I wade. And I’ll never find my pleasant bay. Is it over? Has my heart stopped? Where are these tears coming from? That continue to drop. Feed me emotion, paint me a face. wake up this manikin from her translucent gaze. | |
